Treasury Service Officer, Operations (Bilingual Mandarin)

(located in Manhattan)

Manage the Treasury services business of the New York Branch.
Responsibilities
A. Ensure accurate and timely booking of all Dealing Room transactions into the T24 accounting system.   Ensure that all deals transacted by the Dealing Room are promptly and independently confirmed, and that confirmation covers all relevant particulars (settlement date and instructions, rate, maturity, rollover if applicable).
B. Manage the KYC process of correspondent customers; work closely with treasury and compliance department for the setup of correspondent customers.
C. Ensure that products introduced by Treasury are supported by appropriate operational procedures and controls.
D. Assist the treasury services business development of the Branch with products and services expertise.
E. Assume an active role as New York Branch develops Treasury services business.
F. Support treasury business development, present the treasury services requirement for IT system, test the system and ensure it will meet the business requirement.
G. Review and assist in Treasury services procedures updating and follow them in daily treasury services work.
II. Additional Responsibilities
A. Work with supervisor of Treasury Service and support staff to develop strong treasury services function within Operations Department.
B. Attend BSA/AML training program, assume responsibility, as appropriate, to report suspicious activity to BSA/AML Officer.
C. Work with the supervisor or above for any additional responsibilities.
III. Qualifications Required:
A. More than three years of experience in a similar role.
B. Familiar with treasury clearing in Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Yakee CD, interest rate swap, securities, REPO and RESO etc.
C. Familiar with payment and treasury related SWIFT message.
D. Familiar with account administration and loan operations preferred.
E. B.A. degree; advanced degree in business, finance or experience and knowledge of specialized Treasury clearing training desirable.
F. Bi-lingual English and Mandarin written and oral communication skills preferred.
G. Self-starter, strong ability to multitasking, quick learner.
