VP Customer Risk Rating (Model Development)

(located in Manhattan)

Responsible for Encompassing the whole chain of Risk-taking and monitoring; Developing and reviewing Customer Risk Rating model.

Job duties include:
CRR Model development and maintenance
- Implementation and maintenance of the context of BSA/AML
and OFAC risk model development/maintenance:
- BSA/AML and OFAC CRR model Methodology documentation
- Calibrate risk factors /parameters involved in the context of
the regulatory requirements and their consistency with the internal risk
processes and policies.
- Monitor of the internal model performance through regular testing and
Benchmarking exercises, and implementation of appropriate actions in
order to maintain the required level of model performance.
- Manage the implementation and the dissemination of the CRR model
within the internal system and process within the Bank.
- Perform annual regulatory stress test and communication to the senior
management of the results.
- Oversee and instruct the update of CRR metrics
Business Integration and model implementation
- Oversee the customer risk rating of each business department
- Instruct each business department to update customer risk rating in the system
- Roll-out validation and the following annual validation of CRR metrics
- Oversee the process of gathering customer and transactional data as well as calculation of risk assessment on a periodic basis based on the
methodology and data document of BSA/AML & OFAC risk assessment
- Collect and manage internal requests from LOB regarding CRR risk model development or improvement.
Reporting and training
- Provide and organize CRR training to Lines of Businesses
- Report to management on CRR model implementation
- Regulatory reporting and communication regarding CRR development
and implementation
Requirements
5 years above experience in BSA/AML and OFAC and BSA model development/validation in banking industry; 3 years above experience in KYC/RiskAssessment/model function

General Knowledge:
Knowledge of U.S. Banking regulations and compliance practice, compliance risk management, and Risk Governance Framework.
Specialty Knowledge
A significant experience in the area of risk modeling (BSA/AML and OFAC); Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially regarding BSA/AML and OFAC

CRR; Knowledge of data management and computational software; Knowledge of U.S. Banking regulations and compliance practice with strong emphasis on all spects of BSA, AML and OFAC; Ability to implement the banks policies and procedures.
