A long established and fast growing Credit Union with assets of nearly $500 million, providing a full range of products to both consumers and businesses is seeking a dynamic, innovative supervisor with consumer lending and management experience to head a growing department in a fast growth and expansion environment.


• Oversee and manage the operations of the consumer loan servicing team.

• Provide back-up support for servicing staff as needed to ensure the completion and continuity of daily operations including but not limited to: E-Oscar and credit dispute resolution, Non-Post accounts, reconciliation of CPI and SWBC, payment GL’ s, processing GAP and CPI claims, and other tasks as required.

• Prepare payoff letters, act as a back-up to the QC review process, perform credit card maintenance, process “ Skip-a-Pay” and loan checks and track same.

• Audit and review loan system reports to identify exceptions, title perfections, subordinations and recording/cancellation of mortgages.

• Provide secondary management support to consumer loan underwriting staff as required.

• Investigate and respond to member concerns and complaints in a timely manner.

• Be the subject matter expert for the loan servicing system regarding fee management, system settings, loan specifications and credit bureau reporting.

• Develop, test, implement and document effective process controls, identify and recommend opportunities for improvement.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of State and Federal laws and regulations related to Credit Union compliance. Make recommendations to management when adjustments are necessary to minimize risk to the Credit Union.


• Minimum of five (5) years Loan Servicing management experience within a Credit Union or financial institution. Prior experience with consumer loan underwriting desirable.


• 4 Year Degree, or the equivalent experience.

• Assist with department audits as it pertains to Loan Servicing.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports as requested.


• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications is required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to interact with members, employees, and vendors.nce

Jim Hinckley joins Adams Consulting Group with 32 years in the search and recruitment business, most recently as President and CEO of Hinckley Associates, which he established in 1994, later acquiring Allen Staffing Services. He entered the business in 1981 with The Fisher Organization as Director of the Banking and Finance Group. Prior to entering the recruitment field, he served in senior management positions with Manufacturers Hanover Trust and Fidelity Union Bancorporation. Jim brings years of search and recruitment experience, primarily in banking and financial services with a long and successful career in middle to senior management recruiting for a wide variety of financial institutions spanning from local community banks to the top global financial firms. Additionally, his specialty includes financial, administration and marketing positions in non-financial firms. He is a graduate of Rutgers University with a major in accounting, and minors in finance and economics, and attended graduate school at Fairleigh Dickinson University with a major in marketing. Jim is also active in professional, charitable and civic organizations, and has served in government offices both elective and appointive, and serves as an officer and board member in several organizations.
