Business Development Manager (Temporary to Direct Hire)
If you’ re an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager looking to grow a new company and help shape its future, then this role is for you! We’ re looking for a Business Development Manager to build our client’ s base of pain management providers (PMPs) in New York City. You’ ll be the voice and face of our client’ s early adopters, responsible for channeling their needs back to our client, and crafting our client’ s value propositions & GTM strategy.

About Our Client

Our client is launching a digital health stealth startup, which is building the first 2-sided platform for pain patients to discover the best pain management providers in their area and for those providers to grow their practices. This is a great opportunity to help build a newly created venture. What you’ ll do
  • Generate leads in physical therapy, physical & rehabilitation medicine, and interventional pain management within and around New York City
  • Craft the sales funnel, sales ops, and messaging to these PMPs
  • Convert target PMPs into joining our platform and accepting appointments facilitated through our team
  • Frequently share back market intelligence and the voice-of-the-customer back to the broader team
  • Collaborate with Operations, Growth, Product, and Design to ensure that the company is growing and evolving strategically

What’ s required
  • Preference for experience selling software into small and medium practices
  • 5+ years of business development experience in provider-facing digital health products
  • Preference for experience selling software into small and medium practices
  • Willingness to travel within NYC including to client’ s office and to pain management clinics around the city (non-commuting expenses reimbursed with receipts)
  • Proven process-driven approach to managing client relationships
  • Prior CRM experience and willingness to experiment with scrappy tools
  • Analytical reporting skills and ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Can-do and collaborative attitude

This position is based in NYC. Relocation assistance will not be offered.

This position is freelance with the possibility of permanent hiring later in 2019.

Compensation will be competitive.

The American Staffing Association (ASA) recognizes Gregory as a Technical Services Certified (TSC) as well as a Certified Staffing Professional (CSP).
