This role is an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to help create the Operations and Customer Service area of our client. We’ re looking for an Operations Manager to manage our client’ s patient and provider relationships and to facilitate appointment bookings in New York City. You’ ll be the chief ambassador of our client for the company’ s early adopters, channeling their needs back to our client, and crafting operations, product, and growth strategies.

 

About Our Client

Our client is launching a digital health stealth startup, which is building the first 2-sided platform for pain patients to discover the best pain management providers in their area and for those providers to grow their practices. We’ re looking for an Operations Manager to manage our client’ s patient and provider relationships and to facilitate appointment bookings in New York City. You’ ll be the chief ambassador of our client for the company’ s early adopters, channeling their needs back to our client, and crafting operations, product, and growth strategies.

 

What you’ ll do
  • Communicate with pain patients every day to understand their conditions
  • Communicate with pain management providers (PMPs) to understand their capabilities and vet them for high-quality care
  • Communicate with patients and providers to facilitate appointment bookings
  • Refine our PMP quality criteria, our PMP QA process, and QA + Operational tools
  • Frequently share back market intelligence and the voice-of-the-customer back to the broader team
  • Collaborate with Operations, Growth, Product, and Design to ensure that the company is growing and evolving strategically

 

What’ s required
  • 3+ years of customer-facing operations experience at a digital health startup(s)
  • Willingness to travel within NYC including to the client’ s office (Hudson Yards) and to pain management clinics around the city (non-commuting expenses reimbursed with receipts)
  • Proven process-driven approach to managing client relationships
  • Prior CRM experience and willingness to experiment with scrappy tools
  • Analytical reporting skills and ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Can-do and collaborative attitude

 

This position is based in NYC. Relocation assistance will not be offered.

 

This position is freelance with the possibility of permanent hiring later in 2019.

 

Compensation will be competitive.
