Our client, a boutique law firm in New York and California is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager for a newly created role. This position will oversee attorney performance reviews and CLE training, attorney and staff recruiting, on-boarding, and benefits administration.

Light travel may be required between California and NYC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing day to day operations of the office, handling and resolving any employee relation issues and enforcing all firm policies and procedures. The Human Resources Manager role offers global firm pay and benefits in a small firm feel.

Required experience: MUST be a seasoned HR professional with experience in benefits administration, employee management, recommending improvements to employee relations policies and making sure that all employee-related policies align with firm goals, experience with employment laws, laws against sexual harassment and discrimination, human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, FMLA, performance evaluations and more
